These stakes measure 12″ in length. The square stock makes these tent stakes less prone to slipping and sliding out compared to round stakes. The square body gives a stronger grip in the ground. If you bury these in the ground and leave only the top visible, then you’re in good shape and have nothing to worry about.
Works wonderfully with larger tent setups where you need to secure the tent using rope. I will use these with my canopy tent that I use at events if it’s a really windy day. These will hold in the ground much more securely than anything you buy from a retail store and will last a whole lot longer too.
There is no finish applied to the stakes so they will rust over time. However, that rust is not going to degrade from their ability in any way.
