This is my take on the classic turkey foot fire poker, a unique and stylish addition to your fireplace tools collection. Hand-forged with attention to detail, this fire poker is designed to bring both functionality and aesthetic appeal to your hearth.

As someone who heats with a wood stove a good 6-7 months out of the year, I wanted to ensure the handle fit well in the hand and gave you good control over the fire poker, especially when you’re trying to move around larger pieces of wood. It feels natural in the hand. You won’t struggle to hold onto the turkey foot fire poker as you would with a store bought poker.

Not to mention some of those store bought pokers will actually melt if you leave it in the fire. I’ve honestly had to fix those for folks.
The turkey foot itself is forge welded and not electrically welded on. Forge welding is the traditional blacksmith way to weld and it gives you a nice clean look without the ugly welding beads of modern welding.
The poker is finished with wax that is applied while the poker is warm and then buffed. This gives a protective layer but it’s intended only for inside use. You can use the poker outside, however, do not leave it in the weather as it will eventually rust if so.
