Heart Bottle Opener

Honestly, the first one of these I made was a mistake and people loved it – no pun intended. I had broken the top of the opener and now I had two halves and wasn’t sure what to do with it. After a minute I had an idea and that idea turned into the heart bottle opener you see today.

The textured handle just adds a bit of flare to an already unique bottle opener. I lightly sand the handle to bring out the contrast with the texture which I feel compliments the piece well.

The heart opener is made from solid mild steel and will last through an endless amount of bottle openings. You’ll wear your hand out long before you wear this opener out. It will last a lifetime, which is yet another reason this makes a wonderful gift. You’ll only ever need to buy one of these; well, unless you like it enough you want more 😉

Each heart bottle opener is hand-forged one at at time. There’s no machines involved. It’s just me, my forge, hammer, and anvil. As such, each one of these truly is one of a kind. Every one I make is subtly different. Consistent, yes, but certainly unique. I can never replicate each blow I strike. It’s different every time and that’s the beauty of hand-forged.
